ABOUT ME
My name is Ruth and I am the owner of Fuchsia Photography, based in Hampshire UK. I am married to Richard who is in the Army, and we have two black Labradors, Mortdecai and Hastings.
I have grown up around dogs and horses and thoroughly enjoy meeting them and their owners. I love photographing animals and capturing their unique personalities in timeless images that immortalise the memories - they are, after all, a part of the family.

Education:
Whilst I am now a full time photographer, I have a first Degree in Sports Coaching and a Masters in Events Management. Since leaving university, I have predominantly worked full time in schools. In June 2021 I made the decision to take my photography full time and I am currently working towards some further photography qualifications.
I have a First Aid at Work qualification and also have my BHSAI Stage 1 and Equine First Aid qualifications.
Awards & Nominations:
I was thrilled to have received a Silver award in the Image of the Month competition with The Guild of Photographers. I was also received several High Bronze and Bronze awards which you can view by clicking the link below.
