Puccini II
'Samson' is Saskia's top horse who is currently competing at 3* level. He had a good season in 2020 with 5th place at Barbury International in the Novice section. Saskia says Samson can be quite sharp but he absolutely loves his job, especially Cross-Country. He is showing promise at 3* level and I can't wait to see him out competing.
Singing Usk
'Ash' is known on the yard as the 'Champion'. Ash is 16 years old and, of all her horses, Saskia has owned Ash the longest. So far in 2021 he has won the Intermediate Novice at Pontispool and come 2nd in the Novice Masters at Barbury International Horse Trials.
In 2019 Ash won the the Magic Millions Top Spec restricted Novice class at Gatcombe. Saskia hopes to move him up to 2* and Intermediate this year.
MZ Mega Bruce
Saskia bought Bruce as a 4 year old and backed him. He is now 5 years old and is a cheeky chappie!
Bruce is currently competing at BE100, though his jumping performance recently shows he definitely has scope and Saskia hopes he will move up the levels. He will also be doing some of the Young Horse classes this year.
He is the life and soul of the yard, so naughty but very talented. He has done a couple of One Day Events and won the 90cm section at Tweseldown this year. Watch this space!
CVS Love Island
Saskia bought Tango as a 3 year old Stallion. He has since been gelded and Saskia is now looking forward to bringing him on. He is just the sweetest and most kind natured horse and takes everything in his stride. He ended last season with a few small competitions and took it all in his stride. He is showing such promise and I am super excited to see how he progresses with Saskia.
